Self storage facilities are comprised of individual storage spaces, or rooms, called units. Customers rent these units to store items that they do not wish or have space to store at home. Self storage is often rented on a month-to-month basis, but many people store items for extended periods of time, others prefer seasonal storage, depending on the item. 

What Is The Difference Between Office Hours And Access Hours?

Office hours refer to the timeframe that one of our storage experts is in the on-site to provide service to our customers. Access hours refer to the timeframe that our customers can come to our facility and visit their storage units.

What Is A Climate Controlled Storage Unit?

Climate control means that the temperature of the unit is controlled and monitored by the storage facility. This lowers the risk of damages that can be caused by extreme temperatures to our customer’s belongings. Beyond Self Storage maintains a temperature of 60 degrees in the winter and 75 degrees in the summer.

What Can I Store In My Unit?

You can store almost anything in your unit!  As storage unit rental is common during a move, many people store household items, such as furniture, boxes, and appliances, in their units.  Storing guns, illegal, or hazardous items is prohibited. What Size Storage Unit Will I Need?

This can be a difficult decision to make. The unit square footage you'll need depends on what you plan to store. Our handy self storage calculator is a great way to have an quick estimate of how much space you need to accommodate your belongings. Don't forget, our on-site storage experts are always happy to assist with your unit selection!

Do I Need Renters Insurance For A Storage Unit?

Yes, we require proof of insurance to rent a storage unit. Although we do whatever we can to maintain a protected atmosphere for your belongings, having coverage for the contents of your unit will help minimize financial loss if your belongings are damaged or lost if an unforeseen event were to take place. If your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy does not cover off-site stored items, we can direct you to our third-party insurance provider. There are many benefits to using self storage insurance and you may even be able to save on the premium of insuring your items!

We work with Bader Insurance to offer Customer Protection Plans between $2,000 and $5,000 of coverage for a low monthly fee, ranging between $9 to $21. This insurance covers damage to your belongings in the event of many accidental circumstances, including burglary, fire, and tornado. It will also cover items in transit within 100 miles, and with the low-cost deductible of only $100 per claim, this is a benefit your homeowners' or renters' policy may not provide.

What Are Your Security Features?

The security of your belongings is top-of-mind at Beyond Self Storage.  To keep your items safe, we have perimeter fencing and state-of-the-art security, as well as keypad access at gates and all entry doors to the storage facility. 

What Kind Of Discounts Do You Provide?

   We are proud to offer the following groups 10% off their monthly rental rate:

  • All Military with valid Military ID
  • All Senior Citizens age 62 and older with valid ID
  • All First Responders (EMS, Fire, and Police) with valid ID
  • All Students with valid Student ID

*Monthly Discounts will be applied after any move-in promotion has expired.

Do You Provide Vehicle Storage?

Select locations can store a variety of vehicles, including RVs, cars, boats, and trailers of many sizes in our covered or un-covered outdoor spaces. The vehicle must be drivable and you must be the registered owner. You will need to provide the current vehicle registration and proof of insurance at the time of rental.

Do You Offer Tools To Help Me Move Heavy Items Into My Unit?

We are happy to provide you with the most convenient experience possible and have flatbed carts on-hand to make loading and unloading your items a quick and easy process!

What Are The Lease Terms?

Our lease terms are on a month-to-month basis.  Your rental can be as short or long as you need.

What Are My Payment Options?

Paying bills should never be a hassle.  We will assist you in setting up monthly automated payments by credit card. Payments are also accepted in the store by cash, money order, cashiers check or credit card.
