“It was great to rent a couple units on the day we opened, including the unit rented to Mr. Chickett, who received a $50 gift certificate to a nearby restaurant for being our first customer,” said Stevey Heinrich, Operations Manager for Beyond Self Storage. “We’re confident that our first project in Minneapolis will do very well, but it felt good to rent the first couple rentals under our belt,” Heinrich added.
The facility is conveniently located off Minnesota 36 & English Street at 1315 Cope Avenue East, across the street from Holiday Stationstores. It took 12 months to construct, it opened according to schedule, and it is the fourth self-storage project to be developed and operated by NorthPoint Development, a Kansas City-based firm that launched the Beyond Self Storage brand and a multi-facility development initiative in February 2016, spanning multiple major metro markets.
