Beyond Self Storage at Chesterfield, a new state-of-the-art self-storage facility with more than 100,000 SF and amenities not found at other self-storage facilities in Metro St. Louis, opened for business on July 5th and rented their first storage unit on the first day.
“It was great to rent our first storage unit on the day we opened in Chesterfield,” said Stevey Heinrich, Operations Manager for Beyond Self Storage. “Robert Bardot received two free month’s rent, a Beyond Self Storage journal/pen set, and a $50 gift card to a local favorite restaurant for being our first customer, and it was especially gratifying to learn that he was already renting somewhere else and chose to move to our new facility, not only because of the location, but also because it’s climate controlled and because we have a drive-thru loading area,” Heinrich added.
The new facility is located at 17481 North Outer 40 Road and it’s the second of two St. Louis projects to be opened and operated by NorthPoint Development, a Kansas City-based firm that launched the
Beyond Self Storage brand and a multi-facility development initiative in February 2016, spanning multiple major metro markets. It took 11 months to construct Beyond Self Storage at Chesterfield, which opened according to schedule.
“I said it was exciting to open our first facility last month on McCausland Avenue in St. Louis,” said Ben Hagedorn, Director of Self-Storage Operations for NorthPoint Development, “but it might be even more exciting to see our second facility open here in Chesterfield, especially after all the rain we experienced this spring.” Hagedorn went on to say, “We expect the location to do well since it’s off I-64, right down the road from the (Taubman) Prestige Outlets, and very convenient for residents and businesses in the Chesterfield area, but it certainly feels good to see customers who are happy to rent with us.”
