BEYOND STORAGE IN THE GOLDEN CORRIDOR

August 28, 2019

Sterling Heights Welcomes National Storage Company

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI. August 22 – Beyond Self Storage at Sterling Heights celebrated their Grand Opening in conjunction with the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, August 15, 2019.  The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Senator Michael MacDonald and Councilman Mike Radtka, as well as members of the Chamber and customers of the store. The climate-controlled facility houses 740 storage units, 12 parking spaces and is located off 18½ Mile Rd, just east of Mound Rd.

This location, one of four in the Detroit metro area, boasts a drive-thru loading and unloading zone, complimentary carts and dollies, controlled access security features, digital video security recording, and motion lights. Packing and moving supplies are also popular add-on items; inventory includes boxes, locks and an assortment of protective covers. With an agreement, customers also receive complimentary WiFi and conference room usage—convenient for business professionals, students, retirees and everyone in between.

What truly sets Beyond Self Storage apart from other self storage companies (aside from their mascot, “Bubble Ben,” who is rapidly growing in popularity) is their philosophy to operate by a set of Core Values that encourage their team members to “Take Ownership” over their business, strive to “Do the Right Thing Every Time,” and to “Live Generously” by finding ways to infuse their brand within the community and search for avenues to give back. These values set the tone for hiring and business operations to make Beyond Self Storage a stand-out partner for storage solutions.

Construction began on Beyond Self Storage at Sterling Heights in December of 2017, they officially opened their doors in March of 2019 and leasing is rapidly moving along. There are very few of the highly desirable drive lane units left, but elevator access and complimentary carts make moving into any unit on one of the three floors a breeze. “We anticipate a large push of business this fall as our customers look towards the winter season,” says Lara Anderson, Director of Marketing. “Providing the community a clean and comfortable environment in which to store their belongings is an exciting opportunity.  Our mission is to ‘Protect and Care for What Matters Most,’ and we intend to do just that for the residents of Sterling Heights.”
